Dr. Rita Snyder's path to dentistry started long before dental school, and it's shaped everything about how Harborview feels today.
Born and raised in Cairo, Rita first fell for dentistry at her mom's office, tagging along after school, watching the team work, and losing herself in the giant fish tank in the waiting room. Visits felt calm, welcoming, and never rushed. Dentistry, she thought even then, should feel exactly like that.
Years later, that same fascination led her to the University of North Florida, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, with one clear next step in mind.
She continued at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, earning her DMD. During training she developed a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and root canal therapy: two practices that combine precision with quiet transformation. Today that same instinct extends to orthodontics: she designs and 3D-prints her own clear aligners rather than sending cases to outside labs.
Dr. Snyder opened Harborview Dental with one simple idea: build a practice where every patient is treated like family, every recommendation feels honest, and no one ever leaves feeling rushed.
Outside the office, you'll find her paddleboarding the coast, planning her next trip, or dreaming of Cassis, the small town in the south of France where her family lives.
